Stay away from fat as much as possible, the only fats you should be encouraged to eat is Omega 3’s that are found in fish oil. You should also aim to speed up your metabolism as this will increase the speed in which you can get skinny, you can do this by eating small meals little and often. In addition to this, stay away from fad diets as these do not work, you may lose weight for a very short period of time but you will put it back on, and more.

As you can see there is not a whole host of complex things you need to do in order to achieve the body you desire. The steps to shedding extra pounds are really quite simple, and anyone can follow them. Of course, what you need most is determination and will power, if you want to lose weight you will, however if you do not have the desire to do so then the chances are you won’t. You need to keep faith in what you are doing and do not be disheartened, keep going until you receive the results you want. As time goes on this should become easier as you will pick up motivation on the way. Remember the key to weight loss is eating small portions frequently.

Another thing to remember is to avoid trans fats as all these do is clog up your arteries, which evidently is not good. Other foods you should avoid are sodas and highly processed foods as these will merely pile on the pounds. Fresh food, vegetables, and fruits are the key to a successful diet.

  • If you can make the time then it would be a good idea to fit in exercising at least two to three times a week. Try to involve lots of different cardiovascular exercises whilst working out as these will help to burn fat.
  • Cardio is great because it also builds up endurance and strengthens your metabolism, which as mentioned is the key to achieving a skinny body.
  •  Resistance training is also a great method for losing weight as you start to build muscles instead of fat. As you start to exercises, week by week try to increase the amount of time you work out if possible.

Make sure you stick to your eating and exercising routine; no matter how hard it seems, as the results will be well worth it. However, do not completely deprive yourself, now and again allow yourself one treat, but ensure this is only now and again and not on a frequent basis.

These seem like some really great tips and I think its just the push I need to start loosing weight again. I had lost 22lbs but have recently started to notice it creeping on again, despite the fact i want to loose more, but these seem like really manageable things to do, so thank you, you may have just given me the motivation I needed! :)

I’m a cheerleader and a flyer at that and I have noticed that my bases are getting much more tired doing the same things in the same amount of time as before plus I have gained a little weight, I practice for 2 hours everyday so the excessive part isn’t a problem but I almost always come home and have some some chips or some other junk food and I don’t drink a lot of water just one bottle
A day because I get thirsty during cheer practice. These eating tips are really going to help

even though im not fat and a couple ppls just to show off even though thur my friends said im anerexic and the same day a dude called me fat its hard what 2 beleive i try looking @ my self and i alaways feel fat but other ppls call me skinny mabe its cause i was really fat but i just am not used to me loosin that much fat and i still beleive im fat but i wish i could just have a perfect body even though ig i do lol :p

i follow these steps GOSH PEOPLE IT REALLY WORKS LOL……..most important is to excersise a couple times a week and eat healthy (not munch 2 much on snacks) and last but not least is the best thing to do is to drink ALOT of water it really helps lol :p

When i want to start a diet i can never stick to my planner and i get so excited when i’m going on one but i never do it and my brother teases me because i weigh more than him and he calls me names and i always snack whenever i’m bored what can i do to prevent this from happening and me falling fat?

Hi, I’m 15 and I am 5’8 and weigh 119 lbs. I’ve tried to lose weight but my mom always makes this food and forces me to eat breakfast every morning. I know that once I set myself to it I can lose the extra blubber but I just need to motivate myself more. I recently finished my sport season and the sport I play really makes your thighs like muscular. I want to be toothpick skinny. HELP! :/

WOW i thinks this works really well coz im really fat but hav lost a couple kilos already.

Also I go to a really good exercise class called ZUMBA. it is a latino/modern dance exercise class thing and i enjoy it sooooo much. If you go to a nearby fitness club and ask if they do aerobics or zumba then they will surely have one of the two. ZUMBA is getting really popular now as it is not just a way of getting exercise but a hobby to me now. I go twice a week. Already I am building muscle thanks to my good old World Beat Fitness Center. If you are willing to lose that flubber and build some muscle then join a ZUMBA class for your body and your wellbeing. If you are really committed and are huge on the weight loss idea, try and go at least a few hours a week. I don’t know about you but I seriously love it.

This is sound advice…this really works! It’s not going to happen overnight, but if you stick to it you will definitely see results. I found it really helpful to make a list of Good Foods/Bad Foods and post it on my fridge, it’s not only a constant reminder to focus on the healthy snacks and food choices, but I also found it very encouraging. You can do the same with your workout. They say that “variety is the spice of life”, therefore, you can even make up fun menus for yourself and workout routines that vary throughout the week, that way it won’t be so monotonous and boring. Anyway, all the best. Hope to see all you skinny chicks on the beach this summer!!! : ) PS. try not to weigh yourself more than once per week, you’ll drive yourself crazy…plus, pay more attention to how you feel and not what you weigh. If you feel great and you look great, what does it matter what the scale says.

my friend weighs more than me but she is skinnier i think and she says i am pretty and i look skinny and she said i should be a model but i am fat and i exercise everyday like i go for a run and i do skipping at home. I have school camp in 3 weeks and you have to change in front of other people and i am going to wear a singlet and i am worried because you have a shower and then i dont have my singlet on anymore but i might just not go.

Well, hi, my Name is Alex and I’m fourteen, I wouldn’t call my self overweight, but I definitely need to loose a little something, considering I’m 5’8″ and I weigh over 189 pounds, my mom just says it’s from having “accentuated” assets but I’m not so sure, Plus my doctor says I have big bones so I’ve cancelled out my dream to be a toothpick, but i’m still hooked on wanting to be a little more umphish if you get my meaning. I’ve tried water, I’ve tried dancing, I’ve even tried fasting but nothing works, I eat when I’m stressed and with school there’s no way to fit in six meals. you have to think of yourself as an engine in your car, if you put bad gasoline in your car it sputters and leaves you at the side of the road. The same applies to eating. Put healthy foods such as vegetables , lean meat , lots of water and healthy carbs such as oatmeal then you will feel better and lose weight, Add exercise for at least an hour a day 5 days a week and small meals and presto chango you’re fit, It’s not going to happen overnight you didn’t get fat overnight either. So wake up, make the decision and get moving .Like me you’ll be fit and strong and a lot happier in no time but hey you have to make the decision.
